A Modern Approach to Timeless Celebrations
From start to finish, we guide you through decisions in a way that feels collaborative, personal, and grounded in what matters most to you.
At Afterglow, we believe your wedding should feel like a reflection of you not a replication of what you’ve seen before. We don’t fit our couples into templates or timelines that prioritize tradition over experience. Instead, we take a modern, thoughtful approach that focuses on how the day feels just as much as how it looks. The result is a celebration that feels effortless, intentional, and entirely your own.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Meet Olivia
Born and raised in Sarasota, FL, my path to wedding planning started at the University of Central Florida, where I studied Event Management. I spent my early career in entertainment events, but weddings kept pulling me in. After an internship at a wedding venue changed everything, I told one of my bosses I was leaving to pursue weddings. His response: "You're going to hate it. It's going to be so stressful." He could not have been more wrong.
I moved to Chicago to work in venue and catering sales, fell in love with the city, and never looked back. Over time, I realized I wanted more than a seat at certain parts of the process. I wanted to be there for all of it. That's what led me to planning.
I founded Afterglow at the end of 2023, and getting to do this full time is something I'll never take for granted. What I love most is the connection I get to build with each couple and watching how they make their wedding completely their own. As a true Type A, my favorite part of the process is the timeline. When I'm not planning weddings, you can find me at Studio Three, needlepointing, or at a wine bar with friends.
THE AFTERGLOW TEAM
Meet Jessica
Jessica has been part of the events industry since she was 16 and has spent the past eight years working in Chicago, planning and supporting hundreds of celebrations. After earning dual degrees in Event Management and Hospitality Management, she built her career in venues and catering, where she met Olivia, before transitioning into planning and coordination full time. Weddings are her main focus, but she also has extensive experience with corporate events and social celebrations, and genuinely loves any reason to throw a party.
Jessica lives in Ravenswood with her husband, their dog, and a rabbit. She's a traveler at heart and has visited all 50 states, though her favorite destination is always the dance floor at a first look. She loves working with new venues and vendor teams across Chicagoland, and yes, her favorite animal is a pig. Her dog and rabbit don't need to know that.
Meet Camille
Born and raised in Southern California, Camille brings over a decade of wedding experience across both coasts. Her background is rooted in hospitality, from culinary and pastry school to catering and events, before she moved into wedding coordination full time. In the last three years, she has helped countless couples say "I Do" and believes every marriage deserves a celebration as unique as the people in it.
Camille got married in 2024 in Kansas City, MO, so she knows firsthand what it feels like to be in her couples' shoes. She lives with her husband and their miniature dachshund, Twinkie. A self-proclaimed budget enthusiast, she genuinely loves digging into the numbers and making sure every dollar works hard. And if you need someone to ugly cry during the vows, Camille has that covered every single time.
