Wedding Management
and Coordination

You’ve fully planned your wedding and want a trusted professional to step in and ensure everything comes together seamlessly. This package is perfect if you’re looking for support in the final stages and peace of mind on the wedding day itself.

  • Wedding Management allows you to hand off the logistics so you can fully enjoy your celebration. We begin working together three months before your wedding, with our first planning call taking place ten weeks out, where we create your timeline together and connect with your vendor team. From there, we confirm logistics and finalize the details to ensure everything runs smoothly. On your wedding day, we oversee setup, manage transitions, and handle any behind-the-scenes moments so you can stay present and focused on celebrating with your loved ones.

  • Final Planning & Preparation

    • Review of vendor contracts and wedding day logistics

    • Vendor communication in the weeks leading up to your wedding

    • We work with you to create the perfect timeline for your wedding day

    • Final walkthrough with your venue or vendor team                                         

    Rehearsal & Wedding Day

    • Rehearsal coordination and wedding party guidance

    • Your lead coordinator onsite for up to 12 hours on your wedding day with an assistant 

    • On-site coordination for setup, overall event flow, and vendor oversight throughout the day

    • Access to our fully stocked wedding day emergency kit

    • Problem-solving and management of any unexpected needs

    We’ll schedule a video call to get to know you, hear more about your plans, and talk through how we can best support you. It’s a relaxed conversation and a chance to see if we’re the right fit for your day.

  • Your Custom Proposal

    Following our call, you’ll receive a personalized proposal outlining your recommended services outlined and investment.

  • Make it Official

    When you’re ready to make it official, we’ll send over your contract and retainer invoice. Once signed and paid, your date is officially reserved and the planning can begin.

  • Who can we expect to work with leading up to and on the wedding day?

    Afterglow Weddings & Events is led by owner Olivia, alongside Lead Planners Jessica and Camille. From the very beginning, each couple is paired with a dedicated planner who will guide them through the entire planning process and be present on the wedding day. In addition, our assistant team supports rehearsals as needed and provides extra day-of support to ensure everything runs seamlessly.

  • What is required to book your services?

    To officially reserve your date with Afterglow Weddings & Events, we require a signed service agreement and a 40 % deposit.

  • Can we customize a package?

    Absolutely! We are happy to create a customizable package that works best for your wedding plans. 

  • Do you offer any additional services?

    Yes! We offer planning hours which can be added on to our wedding management and coordination package. Planning hours are priced at $75/hour and can be added in increments of 5.

  • Do you work with couples outside of Chicago?

    Yes! While we’re based in Chicago, Afterglow Weddings & Events happily works with couples planning weddings anywhere. Travel fees will apply for weddings outside the Chicago area.
